where did phics come from?

Phics was started following many sleepless nights and painstaking amounts of research by a single IT manager, at a mid sized retailer in Sussex. Bringing the 50+ year old company into the 21st centuary was to be no easy feat but was required for the business to keep up with the times and move on into the future.

The company founder spent 7 years in the driving seat, at the forfront of business technology, building a future ready systems for his employers. Researching as he went, he built the companies ICT (Information & Communication Technology) infrastructures.

Going as far as he could, and with the company's best financial interest's in mind, he left after accepting a job offer from another company that came to him directly. At the same time as his move to this new Senior Technical Consultant roll at an IT support company, he set up his own. The primary function was to maintain what he had put in place at his previous employers and to help other small companies owned by friends and family.

Working for a support company exposed him to a very diverse array of businesses, applications, hardware, technologies and people. This built his knowledge and experience whilst he set out to improve as many of the clients IT experience as he could.

With over 850 windows based endpoints (Servers and PC's), smartphones and PDA's, not to mention the 100's of network devices and peripherals, or the bespoke requirements already under the support of Phics, Phil realised how many companies needed something like Phics's Support. A single provider that can facilitate all of your IT, communication and connectivity needs for less cost!!
